yeah yeah. i know i promised to blog about that night,
but i seriously just never got around to doing it.

so since i've got nothing better to do but lay in bed, browsing absolutely useless websites, & switching between books, i'll blog!

ook. so what was it i told you guys i would blog about?

yesyes. the show.
so theres this guy we know from school, gary.
hes a bassist in the band all in a year.

they got booked to play at greene street, which is where the up & coming bands play at.
it was interesting i guess ..
but not really my scene.

all these semi emo/goth girls would like absolutely scream their head off everytime a person in the band walked by.
& they we're fucking mosh dancing - headbanging at all.

we even pretended to join & freak out with them.
& whenever they screamed, i screamed. haha.
but it was seriously intense, so we just left the damn place.

his band was good though, its kind of comtemporary/punkish.
reminds me of sublime.

oook. so after we left, we went to alex's to try to coax him into doing a beer run.
but then he started throwing up, & he wouldnt let us drive his precious truck because he thought we would wreck it.

& he didnt want to ride in stacey's car either cause he said that he was too tall & stacey's car was too little. (which didn't make sense at all, because we could have just put the top down, & he would have as much space as he wanted. he could even stand up in the car for all i care.)

so we had to call shawn, to drive all the way down from kernersville, to drive christine(alex's truck's name) to the gas station so that alex could run in half drunk, to get our beer, because hes the only one with the fake id.

that whole process of obtaining a 12-pack of smirnoff & a 12 pack of busch ice took about 4 hours!

to be young & UNDERAGE!
it sucks.

alex said that he could just get me & stacey our own id's so that we can buy the beer ourselves.

but do you seriously think that i would pass as 21?

thats a clear cut example of america's oh-so-terrible government.

they think that we are responsible enough to drive at the age of 16, fight for our country and vote at the age of 18, smoke at the age of 14, but we can't drink & party for one night in our life before dying in iraq fighting for the country.

if i were president,
the first thing i would do is lower the drinking age.

whats so bad about drinking anyways?
every other country in the world lets their teens drink at the age of 18 ..

anyways, the funniest part of the night, was when we we're really buzzed,
like a group of 12 of us went to tacobell, & walked through the drive thru.

& when the person in the drive thru window asked why we were all walking thru the drive thru window, alex told him that we were being responsible, & not driving while intoxicated.

it was so funny, standing at the ordering station, all of us yelling into the little speaker thing telling the person what we wanted.

& then we had to walk to the paying window, & payed for it,
& walked to the pickup window to get our food.

haha. it made my life.

i have pictures in my other computer,
which i'll upload when i get on the desktop.

& i PROMISE i'll do it within the week.

i've been jumping all over the place in this post.
going from band shows, to being president, to tacobell ..

i'll post a more structured post next time.

unless germany loses & i get too depressed ..
but they wont!

so that means i'll definitely blog soon!

xoxo,
Rach
